Stevie grew up fabricating. The daughter of two architects, she was encouraged at a young age to build things with old toothpaste boxes and toilet paper tubes. At age twelve, Stevie discovered fine metals, and she swapped corrugated cardboard for silver sheet.

Stevie is drawn to geometric shapes and structures as well as to the organic human form. The central tension of her work is the interplay of the masculine and the feminine, the angular and the soft, the manmade and the natural. In her designs, Stevie strives to honor the organic shapes and contours of the human body while battling back against them with industrial geometries. She hopes her work is both a source of beauty and strength for the wearer.

Each piece is handmade in Brooklyn.
